Lonely Hunter Books is an independent, pop-up book seller serving Elgin, TX and surrounding communities offering a highly curated selection of new and used books. We specialize in literary fiction that is diverse, inclusive, and a little bit weird.
Elisha’s favorite reads are the stories that walk us through the dark and disquieting parts of being human and accompany us on the deeply personal search for meaning and beauty.

Using strips of colorful paper and gluing them on edge, Miranda creates beautiful and playful works of art, each piece lovingly handcrafted and unique.

Growing up in Alaska taught Ashley many things – including the need for a cup of coffee that is as strong, welcoming, and comforting as the community which shares it. After relocating to Texas in 2014 and spending years at the local Elgin markets crafting friendships and a strong sense of belonging, it was time to give back in the way we best knew how. We are honored to be able to share the things we love with Elgin: Good conversation, good coffee, and a space to harbor creativity.
